History

Resolute itself was founded as a rental HVAC business in 2002. By that point, however, the companies that Resolute would come to acquire were already in business for decades. Tioga Air Heaters had been established in 1961, Reliable Construction Heaters had been incorporated in 1986, and Mobile Air began in 1989. These three companies each had their own independent trajectories for years, until Tioga acquired Reliable and Mobile Air in 2015.

Resolute Industrial began to expand via acquisition a few years after Reliable and Mobile Air joined Tioga, and in 2017 Resolute acquired Tioga. Tioga’s rental division was renamed to Mobile Air, and their heater manufacturing division would be referred to as Tioga Air Heaters. By the beginning of 2020, Resolute acquired American Equipment Group, expanding both our rental and equipment manufacturing offerings. To account for the addition of a rental generator fleet, Mobile Air was renamed to Mobile Air & Power Rentals. In late 2020, Resolute completed its most recent acquisition of Dri Express, which provided MAPR with additional resources to provide specialty drying solutions.
