Resolute Industrial is the sole source for YORK® brand Refrigerant Storage and Recovery (RSR) units. The Resolute Industrial RSR business was formed through the sale of the Johnson Controls YORK® brand RSR business. Resolute continues to be the sole source for YORK® brand RSR units and continues to manufacture these products to the same exacting standards and with the same processes in effect under the previous Johnson Controls/YORK® ownership.
Our Products & Process
YORK® brand RSR units have set the quality standard in refrigerant recovery for years and are installed and used in plants throughout the world. We manufacture a wide variety of units in multiple sizes and capacities that can accommodate a variety of refrigerants. In addition to our standard offerings, we can design and build custom units to meet particular pumping and storage specifications. Click here to view our full list of standard models and specifications.
We maintain ready-to-ship stock on most of our standard products with up to 4000 pounds storage tanks in order to quickly respond to our customers’ needs. Custom units require lead times from six to ten weeks, depending on the specialized components that might be required. We build all units at our Indianapolis facility in a dedicated manufacturing cell. All units undergo thorough testing before shipping to your location.
York® Refrigerant Recover/Storage/Recycling System Equipment
Facilitates leak checking, prevents non-condensibles entry
Undetected leaks result in unnecessary purge cycles which emit some refrigerant into the atmosphere. Also, leaks decrease reliability and performance by letting moisture-laden air and other non-condensibles into the refrigerant cycle. Unlike time-consuming and difficult hot water and nitrogen pressurization processes, the PressurePak system makes leak detection easier and faster.
Be compliant with federal regulations
Frequent leak checking and repair will help you be compliant with new Clean Air Act regulations on annual refrigerant leak rates, which have been set at 35% for industrial and refrigeration equipment and 15% for all other equipment. It not only makes good maintenance sense to eliminate chiller leaks, it’s now the law.
Save time and hassles
In four hours or less, the PressurePak system can circulate heated water through the evaporator, increasing pressure to approximately +5 PSIG. The chiller system can then be tested for leaks and returned to operation.
- Facilitates leak checking
- Pressurizes chillers in 2 to 4 hours
